Landmark Consultants, Inc. core strength is undoubtedly our people. Landmark was founded in 2001 by three individuals who thought they could build a better engineering consulting firm by treating their clients like partners, maintaining them for life, and providing an environment for personal evolution. These values proved successful and the founders quickly realized the potential for growth if they hired employees who shared them.

Office Equipment & Software

Landmark maintains efficient and reliable computer hardware and software networked with a central file server. The entire file library on the server has duplicate backup files created daily with weekly copies stored off-campus. We use the latest in design software including AutoCAD 2012 with Civil 3D/Land Development Desktop, Haestad Method’s PondPack, EnerCALC, WaterCAD and StormCAD, AutoTURN, HEC-RAS, Microsoft Office and many other software programs applicable for a variety of designs and analyses. Each CAD workstation has high-speed internet and instant e-mail capabilities to assure that the project information may be instantaneously available to any team member. Landmark has full in house color printing and plotting capabilities for reports, construction drawings, and presentation materials.

We utilize state-of-the art accounting and project management software, Ajera’s Portfolio, which is specific to the A/E industry to allow for real-time project budget tracking to help ensure that projects are kept within budget and scope of work.

Surveying Field Equipment

Landmark field crews are equipped with heavy duty 4-wheel drive vehicles to access any project site. We use Sokia Robotic Total Stations and Sokia Levels for precise data collection and accurate construction staking. We also possess Trimble 5800 GPS receivers with TSCE Controller, TDS software, and Trimble R8 with R-Track technology for efficient and effective surveying capabilities where applicable. Points are uploaded/downloaded directly through AutoCAD for instant utilization.
