Civil Engineering

A marriage of new technologies grounded in practical applications. Our engineers are designers, builders, M.B.A.’s, athletes, parents…you will find something in common with us and you will find we are uncommon.

Since Landmark Consultants, Inc.’s founding in 2001, our company has been involved in projects that have ultimately shaped entire communities. Our projects have ranged from the entitlement of raw land and the design of master-planned communities to more recently the redevelopment of mixed use neighborhoods in Downtown Steamboat Springs and the Steamboat Springs Mountain Base. From this broad spectrum of experience, clients are assured of engaging an engineering consultant who has participated in virtually all aspects of land development engineering.

Local knowledge, technical competence, thinking like our clients with the ability to find proactive solutions to your challenges, are what keep our clients coming back.

What they are saying:

“Landmark Consultants has been a breath of fresh air in the realm of civil engineering.  Our experience with them includes surveying, FEMA flood mapping, site planning, drainage, entitlement and regulatory processes; all within multiple jurisdictions.  They consistently bring accuracy and experience to guide their clients through these complex processes.  By maintaining a high level of quality and responsiveness to their clients, they have solidified themselves as the go-to consultant for Davis Partnership Architects.  We continue to seek ways to build our working relationship and look forward to many more projects with Landmark Consultants.” – Thanks, Darren

“Your quality and timeliness in delivering work product was greatly appreciated. As a local government, we recognized the thoughtfulness to our needs that were included in your proposed designs; and as a client, we valued the holistic considerations to cost and quality” – Philo Shelton, City of Steamboat Springs Public Works Director

“your recommendation effectively ended your involvement with the project and sacrificed a considerable billing opportunity. You put our interests before your own, a trait that is very hard to find.” – Paul Gotthelf
“I would like to send out a special thank you to Erik Griepentrog and Tim Brodman with Landmark Consultants. The access project for Steamboat Christian Center was very complicated and demanded a high degree of skill and expertise in Engineering and Construction. We appreciate all your hard work on this project and looking forward to the next project.”  –Devin DraytonCDOT Project Manager
“Due to your familiarity with our challenging mountainous terrain, limited available construction budget, and the particulars of the regulatory agencies, we have been able to advance the project to the next phase” – Lance Miles, Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation.
“The City has been pleased with Landmark’s service and would definitely hire them again.” – Janet Hruby, PE – Assistant Public Works Director
“I can personally, as well as on behalf of my staff, say that we have enjoyed working with Landmark’s staff, and specifically Jeff Gustafson. As a local government manager, I recognize the thoughtfulness to our needs and attention to considerations such as cost and quality that have been provided in Landmark’s surveying services and products” – Mary Alice Page-Allen – Town Administrator/Clerk, Town of Oak Creek
